Pay as you go website maintenance

Maintenance work and updates can be carried out on your website as and when it's needed, usually within 48 hours of your request. All maintenance work undertaken is charged at an hourly rate of £35, and billed in 15 minute increments.

Website maintenance agreements

If you prefer to stay in control of your costs, a website maintenance agreement will allow you to purchase a set number of hours per month. Unused hours can be carried over to subsequent months, and I'll provide a detailed breakdown of all the work undertaken.

Common Questions

What can I use my maintenance time for?

Your maintenance time can be used for tasks such as; content updates, adding new pages, inserting images.

What does my maintenance time not include?

Website maintenance does not include consultations or meetings. Maintenance contracts are suitable for website owners who are able to provide a list of work required. If consultation and / or guidance are required, please take a look at the support options

How does the support contract work?

All maintenance requests must be sent by email to the address provided when you sign up. When I receive a request from you, I will let you how long it will take to finish the work, and only proceed when I receive authorisation from you.

At the end of each month, I'll send you a statement with a breakdown of all maintenance time used. I aim to complete all maintenance requests within 2 working days of approval.

What if I use too many hours in a month?

If you use more than your contracted hours in a month, any further maintenance requirements will be quoted separately. I will advise you before you go over the number of contracted hours ask for your approval before undertaking any work which will incur additional costs.

What if I don't use all my hours in a month?

You can 'carry forward' the equivalent of up to 3 months' maintenance time. If your contract gives you 2 hours of maintenance time each month, you an carry forward up to 6 hours of maintenance time, giving a maximum of 8 hours maintenance time in any one month.

If you find you consistently require less than your contracted maintenance time, I'll be happy to adjust your contract.

Is there a minimum contract length?

The minimum contract trem is 6 months, payable in advance by monthly standing order or PayPal subscription.
